Police: Janesville man arrested after making threat with knife & threatening judge

JANESVILLE (WKOW) — Police in Janesville arrested a man they say threatened someone with a knife and made threats toward a Rock County judge.

Police were called to Monterey Park on Rockport Road around 1:25 a.m. Wednesday on a report that Jeremiah Kemper was trying to get into a locked car. When the owner tried to stop him, police say Kemper said he was an undercover officer, showed a knife and held it over his head in a threatening manner.

After officers were called and Kemper was arrested, they say he made threats toward a judge. Authorities did not identify the judge who was threatened.
