BELOIT (WKOW) — Beloit police are warning residents about a rash of incidents where people have been going through cars, and in one case, stole a child’s bike.

Beloit police say that four cars were gone through overnight from the 1900 block of Prairie Avenue down to Pioneer, then over to Arrowhead.

The incidents have occurred Tuesday after midnight and again in the early evening.

The close proximity leads police to believe the suspect is likely walking neighborhoods checking doors.

The bike theft occurred several weeks ago and was captured on a Ring Camera and shared to the Ring Neighbors App.

Police aren’t sure if it is the same suspect going through cars, but they are encouraging homeowners to check their cameras to see if they might have any videos of a suspect moving around.
