Francisco Almenara

Francisco Almenara joined WKOW in June 2018 after working in Rochester, Minnesota at the NBC station KTTC.

A relative newcomer to the Midwest, Almenara¬†was born in Argentina, but spent the majority of his life in Richmond, Virginia. He graduated from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia in May 2016. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism with a minor in Computer Science.

Almemara has covered stories relating to everything from the Super Bowl, to farming corn and soybeans and even fallout shelters.

He is very excited to be living in Madison and can’t wait to find his place in the city.
