Woman reports sexual assault in Madison

MADISON (WKOW) — Police say a woman reported being pulled into a car and sexually assaulted in downtown Madison.

According to Madison police, the 23-year-old woman told officers she was in the area of Paterson Street when she believes she was hit in the head and dragged into a car. She said the man pulled her out of the car after the assault. She went to a hospital to report the incident.

Police say the woman was not able to describe the attacker. She thought he was tall and skinny, possibly Hispanic.

The incident happened around 11 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11.
