UPDATE: Crews respond to silo fire in Rock Co, lanes reopen

UPDATE (WKOW) — Lanes that were closed on WIS 104 near Albany, Wis. due to a silo fire are cleared, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.


ROCK COUNTY (WKOW) — A silo fire near Albany, Wis. has blocked all lanes on WIS 104 southbound as crews respond, according to the Rock County Sheriff’s Office.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation sent out an alert about the closure at 2:20 a.m. Friday.

The agency is reporting all lanes on WIS 104 southbound Between County Rd A and WIS 59 are closed.

Officials expect lanes to be clear by the morning commute.
