(WQOW) — Investigators in Barron County continue to hold out hope they’ll find Jayme Closs who disappeared 44 days ago.
One thing that’s giving them inspiration is a holiday tree dedicated to the 13-year-old. It’s inside the Barron County Justice Center.
The clerk of courts says it was a group effort to get all the decorations together.
“We’re trying to give back and let the family and our community know that we’re still hopeful. We’re still remembering Jayme,” said Sharon Millermon, Barron County Clerk of Courts.
The Barron County Sheriff says the tree symbolizes hope, which fuels their search for Jayme every day.
Investigators are still following up on tips.
