Madison police investigate overnight gunshots near the capitol

MADISON (WKOW) — Madison police responded to gunshots on the 100-block of S. Butler St. around 2:00 a.m. Sunday.

According to a news release, there was a lot of commotion in front of a bar and during that commotion a gun went off.  People involved ran.

No one seems to be hurt, and police say they didn’t see any property damage.

The investigation is still going on.
