Police release surveillance video from robbery

MADISON (WKOW) — Police released surveillance video of a man who robbed a gas station in Madison.

Officers say he held up the Spirit at 1130 Williamson Street Monday afternoon. They say he claimed he had a gun, but no weapon was seen.

Police say he’s white and about 50 to 60 years old. He was wearing sunglasses with a scarf over his face and a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt. Police say he got money and ran away toward McPike Park.
