Balloon ceremony held for Jayme Closs

Barron County (WQOW) – Saturday marked two months since the disappearance of Jayme Closs.

Jayme’s family, friends and community members held a balloon release ceremony for the missing 13-year-old. Her grandfather, in a heartfelt message, spoke at the event.

“Jayme, grandpa wants you to know that we will never give up. I want nothing more than to get my granddaughter back home, to me, and her family where she belongs,” Robert Naiberg, Jayme’s grandfather said.

The family and community members stated the green and blue balloons symbolized hope for Jayme’s safe return.
