ST. PAUL, MN (WKOW) — Minnesota State Patrol officials are looking for a semi driver who hit a trooper’s squad car and drove off on a snowy I-94 Wednesday evening.
The agency posted on Facebook asking for the public’s help to find the driver, showing dash camera video captured during the crash.
Officials say the trooper had turned on the emergency lights as he pulled up behind several vehicles that had crashed in St. Paul, Minnesota. That’s when the semi side-swiped the squad car. The trooper was not hurt.
Anyone with information on the driver of the red semi with a white trailer should call (651) 582-1509. The driver is a black man, about 50 to 60 years old. The truck would have damage to the front, passenger side, according to investigators.
