MADISON (WKOW) — Just a day before Gov.-elect Tony Evers is sworn into office, he discusses his priorities for 2019. How he plans to work with divided government and why he’s hopeful to change the political climate.

Plus,  an organization is aiming to combat the rise of hate crimes in the nation. Masood Akhtar is the founder and president of “We Are Many – United Against Hate.” It’s a movement aimed to teach forgiveness and promoting peace. 

Akhtar discusses his plans to launch a K-12 anti-hate task force statewide through the Department of Public Instruction or pitching to Evers administration.
