UPDATE (WKOW) — The left lane of East Gorham Street is back open after a “signifcant” water main break Friday morning.
As of 9:20 a.m., the right lane of East Gorham remains closed as crews continue to clean up and fix the affected road.
MADISON (WKOW) — A water main break on E. Gorham St. will require street closures.
According to Madison police, it happened around 4:45 a.m. Friday morning.
East Gorham Street will be closed from North Blair Street to North Pinckney Street until further notice.
Officials tell our crew on scene that they’re not sure what caused the water main break or how long water has been flowing.
Madison Water Utility tells 27 News that residents who live in the immediate area are without water. They say water could be shut off for three to four hours.
