MADISON (WKOW) — Madison police say they are investigating after a suspect punched a woman in the face Thursday night.
According to Madison Police Chief Mike Koval, the 48-year-old victim reported walking on N. Carroll St. around 8 p.m. Thursday, when a suspect yelled something and followed her.
The victim said that the suspect tried to “give her a hug”, and when she pushed him away he punched her twice in the face.
The woman had visible injuries, according to Koval’s blog post.
Madison police say the suspect is at-large and they are continuing to investigate.
