MADISON (WKOW) — While we’re still right in the middle of winter, more than 20-thousand people are thinking spring.
This is the 26th year of the Wisconsin Public Television Garden and Landscape Expo at Alliant Energy Center. It celebrates the latest trends in gardening and landscaping.
Some gardeners said they’re looking forward to spring.
“Gardeners are the biggest optimists. Every year is a new start, every year is a new spring. So everyone has been really happy and excited even though we have snow coming later in the week, we’re ready for spring,” said Lisa Briggs, with The Bruce Company.
Gardeners say there are some things you can get started planting inside right now, but you won’t be able to get your garden going outside until night temperatures are around 50. That’s usually around May 15.
