MILWAUKEE (WKOW) — A young girl in Milwaukee has a passion for police officers.

When Allison Krueger, 5, heard Milwaukee police officer Matthew Rittner died, she wanted to do something special to show support.  She began making cards and passing them out.

“She was sad about it, and she was like what can I do to make them feel better?” Allison’s mom Tina said.

To date, she and her mom estimate they’ve passed out about 200 cards with the help of friends.

“[Police] are nice, and they help people out, and they solve problems and cases,” Allison said.

Allison has been collecting police badges nearly her entire life.  She wants to be K9 officer when she grows up.
