UPDATE (WKOW) – The Wisconsin Department of Transportation reports the entire road is back open as of 4:00 p.m.

ORFORDVILLE (WKOW) — All southbound lanes are blocked on State Highway 213 near Orfordville between Wright Street and Main Street because of a hole in the road caused by a washout.

Orfordville Public Works officials told 27 News that this comes after a water main break in the same area last week. They believe the hole was caused by deterioration to a manhole from the water main break.

The manhole will need to be replaced, which could take most of Wednesday.

Lanes on State Highway 213 southbound will be closed during the repairs. Detour signs are in place for the duration of the closure.
