UPDATE (WKOW) — All of the animals involved in a Dane County barn fire are OK Friday morning, according to the Dane County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials said the property owner at the farm in the town of Pleasant Springs was able to safely move all of the animals from the barn as it went up in flames Thursday night.
The barn and everything else inside it are considered a total loss.
The sheriff’s office said they don’t think the fire is suspicious.
UPDATE (WKOW) — A barn fire at a farm outside Stoughton was put out early Friday morning, according to Dane County dispatch.
Dispatch tells 27 News that fire crews were able to put out the fire and leave the scene just after 2:10 a.m. They say there have been no reports of injuries.
No word yet on how much damage the fire cost to the barn, according to dispatch.
PLEASANT SPRINGS (WKOW) — Multiple fire departments are trying to put out a barn fire at a farm outside Stoughton. The fire was reported around 9:00 Thursday night.
The first crews to arrive called for backup from other area departments to help them battle the fire along County Highway B, in Pleasant Springs.
