Police: Hit-and-run victim suffers broken leg

MADISON (WKOW) — Police say they’re investigating a hit-and-run that occurred on the south side of Madison Saturday night.

According to Police Chief Mike Koval, officers responded to a report of a hit-and-run crash with injuries in the 1600 block of Seminole Hwy around 11:15 p.m.

Police say the victim, a 68-year-old man, had just walked out of the Badger Tavern and into the roadway when he was struck by a vehicle.

Witnesses provided minimal information about the suspect’s vehicle.

Authorities say the victim was taken to a local hospital where it was determined that he had suffered a broken leg.
