STOUGHTON (WKOW) — Norwegian pride was on full display in Stoughton on Sunday for the Syttende Mai parade.

The festival celebrates Norwegian Constitution Day, which was May 17.

It was rainy all morning, but it stopped just in time for the parade, so there was a great turnout.

“It would be better if we were in shorts and no gloomy clouds. But it’s nice. I see people, past co-workers, friends, families that I only get to see once a year and get to see a really nice parade here,” said Nick Lowe, who showed up for the parade.

If you were there, you may have seen Wake Up Wisconsin Anchor Rebecca Ribley, Sports Director Lance Veeser and Meteorologist Max Tsaparis in the parade, handing out candy.
