Dane County deputies revive unresponsive inmate

MADISON (WKOW) — Deputies were able to revive an inmate who was found unresponsive Tuesday night in the Dane County Jail.

The Dane County Sheriff’s Office says officers found the inmate, a 31-year-old Madison man, on his bunk around 7 p.m. Tuesday. Deputies and jail medical staff members administered two doses of Narcan and the inmate regained consciousness.

Authorities say the inmate was booked into the jail earlier that morning.

He’s now being evaluated at a local hospital.
