Bicyclist hit at village of Oregon interstection

VILLAGE OF OREGON (WKOW) — A 14-year-old bicyclist was hit by a car Wednesday morning at the intersection of Janesville Street and South Perry Parkway in the village of Oregon.

Oregon police, fire and EMS were sent to the scene shortly after 10 a.m., according to Dane County Dispatch.

The bicyclist was taken to a Madison hospital with non-life threatening injuries as a precautionary measure, according to the Oregon Fire Department.

The intersection was closed temporarily.
