TOWN OF DELLONA (WKOW) — A Wisconsin Dells man was taken into custody after a disturbance in the Town of Dellona Wednesday afternoon.

Around 12:30 p.m., someone called the sheriff’s office about a man breaking items and firing off a gun at a home on Oak Leaf Lane. Deputies and Wisconsin State Patrol troopers responded to the scene, setting up a perimeter.

Several people left the home voluntarily, but the suspect, identified as 19-year-old Andrew G. Kuzyk, stayed inside and refused to come out. The Sauk County Emergency Response Team and the Sauk County Critical Incident Negotiations Team then responded.

After nearly two hours of negotiations, the sheriff’s office says Kuzyk voluntarily came out of the home. He’s at the Sauk County Jail on tentative charges of Domestic Abuse/Disorderly Conduct and Domestic Abuse/Criminal Damage to Property.
