JANESVILLE (WKOW) — Police in Janesville are looking for a man who allegedly robbed a Stop-N-Go on E. Racine Street late Saturday night.
According to a Janesville police press release, just before 10:30 p.m., a Stop-N-Go employee said a man entered the store and demanded money. The suspect got away with cash and two packs of Newport cigarettes before leaving.
Although the man never displayed a gun, the employee believed based on his actions, the suspect had a gun in his jacket pocket.
Police were not able to find the suspect once they arrived on the scene.
