MADISON (WKOW) — Dane County Regional Airport will have nonstop, seasonal flights to Las Vegas and Orlando beginning in December.
The flights are offered by Sun Country Airlines and are on sale on the company’s website now, according to a press release from the airport.
The first flights will take off from Dane County Regional on Dec. 19, 2019, and continue once every Thursday and Sunday until mid-April, according to suncountry.com.
“We are excited to add these seasonal flights to the Dane County Regional Airport,” said Dane County Executive Joe Parisi. “These destinations provide the perfect opportunity for Dane County residents hoping to escape winter weather or enjoy (a) warm vacation destination.”
Flights to Las Vegas are scheduled to take off from Madison at 2:25 p.m. and arrive at McCarran International airport at 4 p.m. local time. Orlando bound planes will depart at 7 a.m. and land in Florida at 10:45 a.m. eastern.
Sun Country first began service at MSN in September 2018 with routes to Fort Myers and Tampa, Florida, Dane County Regional said.
