MILWAUKEE (WKOW) — A Milwaukee police officer’s act of kindness is spreading on social media.

Officer Kevin Zimmerman pulled over Andrella Jackson this weekend for not having proper registration.

He noticed the kids in the car did not have car seats, so he bought two car seats and installed them.

“I’ve seen lots of accidents. I’ve seen kids get hurt. I’ve seen kids get killed,” Zimmerman said. “Something as simple as a car seat properly installed could have helped them out and saved their life. And that’s why I wanted to do what I did.”

Jackson was moved by what Zimmerman did.

“I took it to Facebook to show him my appreciation and to show people all over Milwaukee or wherever that every cop not bad. You can’t judge all cops off of one cop and I just wanted to let him know that we was very thankful and we appreciate it and we was blessed,” Jackson said.

Jackson shared her experience on Facebook and her post has more than 700 shares.
