DEFOREST (WKOW) — DeForest High School was supposed to play host to Monore in the third round of High School football playoffs. However, the Norskies surrendered the home-field advantage for a neutral site game in McFarland.

The decision to move the game comes as the DeForest Area School District is raising money to install turf at the site of the high school’s DMB Stadium.

An online fundraiser for the new field has raised $38,605 of its $600,000 goal. “The DeForest High School stadium field is in need of repairs,” a description on the webpage reads.

The goal also includes money for a new video board.

The game kicks off in McFarland at 7 p.m.
