MADISON (WKOW) — A musical theater revue in Madison will break barriers, putting female characters in the lead.

The show, put on by Music Theatre of Madison, will be Friday, Nov. 9 and Saturday Nov. 10 at the Brink Lounge. Performances start at 7:30 p.m.

Directors compiled songs and acts that tackle issues like self-image, motherhood, aging, abuse, workplace discrimination and “having it all.”

“The stories that are being told really resonate with our audience,” said Director Wendy Jones-Hill.

If you want more information on the show you can visit the theater’s website.
