MADISON (WKOW) — It’s Girl Scout Cookie season!
Girl Scouts across the country are selling cookies, giving members a taste of the real world while brightening the day of millions of consumers.
Monday on Wake Up Wisconsin Christen Incitti, the COO of Girl Scouts of Wisconsin- Badgerland Council and Lily Zea, a Girl Scout Junior from Madison stopped by the 27 News studio.
The pair showed off a new cookie, Caramel Chocolate Chip. They also talked about the importance of the program.
“Build their confidence, set goals and achieve them too,” said Incitti. “It helps fund their different Girl Scout leadership experiences.”
Wake Up Wisconsin Anchor Nick Buffo tasted the cookies while blindfolded to test his tastebuds and Girl Scout Cookie knowledge. (See video attached.)
