(WISN) — President Donald Trump walked off Air Force One Friday morning to cheers from his supporters, who were patiently waiting for his arrival.

“Two hours of waiting,” one supporter said. “It was well worth the wait.”

Once the president walked off the plane, he took the time to greet people and sign autographs on just about anything, including a shoe.

Carla Echeveste handed a red-bottom Louis Vuitton over to the president for him to sign. But why her shoe?

“I think it represents a  lot of the qualities that he has. He’s very strong and I wanted something special for him to sign,” Echeveste said.

The president spent more than ten minutes on the tarmac with supporters, signing shoes, hats, shirts, even giving out compliments.

“He said I had the best beard that he’s ever seen,” Trump supporter Wade Hartman said.

“He said it might not work on him, and the most powerful man in the world gave me the best possible outcome as far as a compliment goes,” Hartman said.

“I’m speechless. I’m out of breath. I’m still shaking but I’m glad he came to us in Milwaukee,” Echeveste said.
