Packers bring back Williams

The Packers officially welcomed back cornerback Tramon Williams. The team has announced the 35-year old has signed as a free agent. The NFL Network is reporting Williams has signed a two-year deal worth roughly $10 million.

Williams spent eight seasons (2007-14) with Green Bay before departing for two seasons in Cleveland and one in Arizona. Last season with the Cardinals, he played in 13 games with nine starts. He recorded a team-high 13 passes defended. He also had two interceptions.

Over his career, Williams has played in 167 games with 130 starts. He is tied for No. 6 among active players with 32 career interceptions.
