Former Badger safety Natrell Jamerson drafted by Saints

Former Wisconsin safety Natrell Jamerson was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the fifth round of the NFL draft.

Jamerson, who began his college career as a wide receiver before converting to a safety in 2017, was selected with the 164th overall pick.

As a Badger, Jamerson recorded 51 total tackles in 2017 in 14 starts as safety.  Jamerson also logged 10 pass breakups and 2 interceptions – including 1 returned for a touchdown.

Jamerson was also the Defensive MVP of 2018 East-West Shrine Game and was invited to 2018 NFL Scouting Combine.
