Former Wisconsin LB Leon Jacobs was drafted in the 7th round of the 2018 NFL draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Jacobs played in 59 Badger football games – the most by a player in FBS history In 18 career starts, Jacobs made 142 total tackles – including 15.5 TFLs and 6.5 sacks – and recorded 3 interceptions.

In 2017, the outside linebacker started all 14 games, notching 60 tackles – including 35 solo stops – 9.5 TFL and 3.5 sacks.

Jacobs impressed scouts at the NFL combine, after running a 4.48 40-yard dash, the second-fastest among linebackers.
