Lee Evans returns for youth football camp

Former Badgers and NFL wide receiver Lee Evans returned to Madison on Tuesday for a three day youth football camp with the Boys and Girls Club of Dane County.

Evans will be leading the camp this week with other volunteer coaches, some being former teammates to Evans like Jeff Mack and Brandon Williams.

The camp is being held at Warner Park and is available at no cost for the kids participating.

"In trying to do my part and trying to inspire some other little kids," said Evans. "My son is out here so it’s fun for him, anything I can do to try to inspire somebody else to do well or see something different I certainly like to be part of that."

Evans played for Wisconsin from 2000 – 2003. He then played nine seasons in the NFL with the Bills, Ravens and Jaguars.
