UW-Whitewater and UW-Platteville football teams enter season ranked

The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference is well-represented in the 2018 preseason poll released by D3Football.com. Three WIAC schools crack the Top 25, including UW-Whitewater and UW-Platteville.

The Warhawks check in at No. 12. This is the 12th straight season UW-Whitewater will open the season in the Top 15. UW-Platteville checks in at No. 16. The Pioneers and Warhawks each posted 7-3 records a season ago.
