Badgers women’s hoops thunders past the Herd

MADISON (WKOW) —  The Badgers women’s basketball team started the month of December off on the right foot. Wisconsin ran past the Thundering Herd of Marshall 67-49.

The Badgers had a rough night shooting the ball. They shot just 29.6 percent from the field. However, they made a season-high eight three-pointers and outrebounded Marshall 68-42.. Imani Lewis posted a double-double, her fourth of the season. The freshman had 11 points and a career-high 14 rebounds. Suzanne Gilreath and Kelly Karlis scored 12 points each.

The Badgers improved to 7-2. Wisconsin travels to Green Bay on Saturday at 1 p.m.
