Seymour, WI native Ty Majeski stole the show Friday night at the Madison International Speedway with a win in the Howie Lettow Classic 100, his sixth career win at MIS.

The 24-year-old, former UW student continues to climb in the professional racing ranks. Majeski was on track to be a regular competitor in the  NASCAR Xfinity Series, he signed with Roush Fenway Racing. Roush had a horrible 2018 and Majeski had a rough go in his limited schedule. The team shut down completely last year.

Majeski now races with Chad Bryant Racing, the top Ford team in the ARCA Racing Series and has had a solid summer. In May and June, he won three races and second in the another. Friday night was his fourth win this summer.

“I mean naturally, it’s a different atmosphere right? All of those guys are doing it as their jobs each and every person there, that is their job,” said Majeski looking back on his time with Roush Fenway.

“I certainly learned a lot, I’m using a lot of what I learned this year to have success in the ARCA car and anytime you can be on the track it can be advantageous for you and your career.”
