More than a dozen former Badger football players worked out in front of scouts from all 32 NFL teams at Wisconsin Pro Day.

They include: Beau Benzschawel, Ryan Connelly, Taiwan Deal, Michael Deiter, D’Cota Dixon, David Edwards, T.J. Edwards, Alec Ingold, Chris James, Micah Kapoi, Zander Neuville, Olive Sagapolu and Andrew Van Ginkel. Former Badgers Rachid Ibrahim and Serge Trezy also attended as well as Nate Trewyn of UW-Whitewater.

Some of those prospects already work out at the NFL combine, but enjoyed working out among former teammates at home.

“[University of Wisconsin is] a very comfortable environment,” said former UW linebacker T.J. Edwards. “It’s very personal. Your teammates are here and your coaches are here. So it’s definitely a different atmosphere and, you know, I was glad I was able to perform decently well today.”

“Any time you come in here and you execute what you’ve been training to do, that’s awesome,” said former UW safety D’cota Dixon. “That’s obviously a win. That’s a plus for me. I think the biggest thing for me today is I came out here and I had fun. And, you know, that’s a win for me. That’s a successful day. I’m having fun. I’m doing what i love. I can’t complain.”
