Wisconsin’s Happ named ‘Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award’ recipient

LOS ANGELES (WKOW) — Ethan Happ added another piece of hardware for his outstanding senior season. Happ was named the ‘Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award’ winner as the top center in college basketball.

Happ is the second Badger to win the award in it’s five-year history. Frank Kaminsky took home the first award in 2015.

Happ led Wisconsin in points, rebounds, assists and steals. He averaged 17.3 points and 10.1 rebounds this season. Happ was a consensus second-team All-American.
