Cap City Cougars fall at state girls’ hockey tournament

MADISON – The Cap City Cougars (Sun Prairie co-op) girls’ hockey team fell in the fsemifinals of the state tournament on Friday, 3-1, to Fox Cities (Xavier co-op).

Down 2-0 in the second period, Olivia Thompson scored the Cougars’ lone goal, on the power play.  She was assisted by Mackenzie Rosin and Mary Goss.

You can see the girls’ state hockey championship game on WKOW on Saturday 12:00pm.
