Oregon girls soccer back in title game for second straight year

MILWAUKEE (WKOW) — The Oregon girls soccer team is back in the state championship game for the second straight season. The Panthers blanked Brookfield East 2-0 in the WIAA State Tournament semifinals.

Ella Hughes and Kaitlyn Schrimpf scored for Oregon. Melia Moyer notched a shutout with three saves. Oregon improved to 17-0-1 on the season.

The Panthers will face Whitefish Bay on Saturday at 1:35 p.m. at Uihlein Soccer Park in the Division 2 title game. Oregon finished second in the state a year ago.
