Lance Veeser

Lance became the WKOW Sports Director in July 2013. He came to Madison after spending seven years at KSHB-TV in Kansas City. Lance also had stops in Topeka, Kansas and Huntington, West Virginia.

Lance is a graduate of Marshall University in West Virginia. He played baseball for the Herd but says he realized quickly he would need to find another way to make a career out of sports. That led him to sports broadcasting. After moving around the country, the lifelong Packers and Big Ten fan is glad to return closer to home.

In his spare time, Lance enjoys exploring all that the area has to offer with his wife, Natasha, son, Mac, and daughters, Kennedy and Reagan.

Lance is always looking for great local stories. So, he encourages you to hit him up with your ideas on email, Twitter, telegraph or any other form of communication.
