DEFOREST (WKOW) — Some local BMX racers were able to rub elbows with a pro on Tuesday as Justin Posey visited Madtown BMX. Posey visits youth around the country in an effort to serve as a mentor to young people in the sport.
“It’s just a good family sport. If you look around, kids are riding bikes, having fun. They all have smiles on their faces. The parents are hanging out, interacting. I mean, there’s not a lot of sports where you can interact with an Olympian. This is one of those sports where. You can come out here, ride with an Olympian, ride with a pro and ride with your friends and have fun.”
