Maragos retires from NFL

MADISON (WKOW) — Former Badgers star Chris Maragos is calling it a career. The veteran NFL defensive back announced his retirement from football on social media.

Maragos carved out an eight-year career in the NFL despite going undrafted. He saw action in 99 games and registered 66 tackles.

Maragos last saw action in 2017 when the Eagles won the Super Bowl. He suffered a season-ending knee injury in Week 6 of that season that proved to be career-ending.
