Forward Madison FC closed out its inaugural season on Saturday, bowing out of the USL League One playoffs in a 2-0 loss to regular season champions North Texas SC.
The Flamingos held on strong for most of the match, but North Texas striker Ricardo Pepi scored both goals late on in the game, finding the net in the 76th and 78th minutes.
Around 25 Forward fans made the journey to cheer on their team in Texas, while several hundred others packed the Brass Ring to capacity back in Madison.
