Sun Prairie volleyball falls in state quarterfinals

GREEN BAY (WKOW) — The season came to an end for the Sun Prairie girls volleyball team in the WIAA state quarterfinals. The Cardinals fell to top-seeded Arrowhead in four sets.

The Cardinals came sprinting out of the gates. They took the first set 25-22. However, Arrowhead responded with three straight sets; 25-14, 25-20 and 27-25.

Payton Addink led Sun Prairie with 13 kills. KJ McNabb added 12 kills. The Cardinals finish the season with a 41-8 record.
