MADISON (WKOW) – Periods of generally light snow will plague Southern Wisconsin through late tonight.

Snow will continue falling through this evening, though it will tend to be lighter and more intermittent. Nevertheless, expect challenging travel conditions through tonight, especially in open areas where blowing and drifting will be more of an issue.

  • Southwestern and far southern areas near the border can expect an additional Trace-1″ through late tonight.
  • Central sections, including Madison, can expect an additional 1-2″ through late tonight.
  • Northern areas can expect an additional 2-3″ through late tonight. Isolated 4″ amounts can’t ruled out for our northernmost areas in Juneau, Adams, Marquette, and Green Lake Counties.
