MADISON (WKOW) – The entire region remains under a FLOOD WATCH until 7 am Friday.

Scattered showers will gradually taper off this evening. It’ll stay breezy tonight, with winds shifting to the NW as low pressure passes to our north. This will pull in some colder air, setting the stage for a raw Friday – breezy with highs in the upper 30s.

Poorly drained urban areas will see minor flooding as a result of a rapid snow melt and any additional rainfall. The are many road closures from the flooding.

Waterways will continue to rise as the ground is frozen and all the accumulated rain is running off to lower elevations.
