MADISON (WKOW) – After a soggy, and relatively cool weekend, temps fall even further before rebounding.

Clouds move back in tonight, but with high pressure in control, the rain will stay away.

Expect cool conditions with temps in the low 40s and a bit of a breeze out of the NW up to 15 mph dropping wind chills to the low to mid 30s.

Temps only get to the upper 50s on Monday, but we’ll see some sunshine through the day and the winds will ease up a bit.

Another system approaches on Tuesday allowing for scattered, light showers, especially for western communities. Temps stay cool in the mid 50s with a breeze increasing through the day.

Showers and even a few rumbles of thunder are possible Tuesday night with a warm front moving through. This will boost temps on Wednesday to the upper 70s.

70s and 80s remain in the forecast, but the active weather pattern sticks around, too. Click here to see your rain chances over the next week.
