DARLINGTON (WKOW) – Two funnel clouds have been spotted in our area, according to reports from the National Weather Service.

One funnel was spotted southeast of Darlington around 12:45 pm, as seen in this viewer photo from Cody Carlin.

At 12:30 pm, another cold air funnel was spotted near Barneveld.

These cold air funnels will still be possible until around 6 pm along the leading edge of a line of showers and t-showers associated with a cold front pushing through the area.

As an upper level low pressure system swirls overhead, there is a lot of spinning in the atmosphere. But because conditions are fairly stable and cool in the low 60s, these funnels will most likely NOT touch down and turn into tornadoes.

If you see a funnel, stay inside until the showers pass. Send any weather photos to connect@wkow.com.

This line of storms is moving east at about 15 mph.
