Rain goes away, but winds pick up for Thursday and Friday

MADISON (WKOW) — The off and on rain all day today will wrap up late this evening with changes coming for Thursday.

TONIGHT
Temps will drop into the 40s after clouds clear out later tonight.

TOMORROW
On the back side of the weather system, winds will gust at 25 mph out of the N-NW. Dry conditions all day Thursday but with gusty winds, it will feel cooler.Temperatures will only climb into the upper 60s.

FRIDAY
Temperatures will warm into the mid 70s with stronger winds out of the SW at 15-25 mph. Partly sunny skies all day and a few showers and t-showers at night as another system moves in from the Northern Plains.

THE WEEKEND
Scattered showers and t-storms will roll over into Saturday and a few more are expected overnight too. A lingering shower may make it into Sunday morning, but the rest of the day will be quieter with partly sunny skies. High temperatures will be in the mid 70s all weekend.
